2021: An Open Letter To Our Customers

Well hello, here we are, standing in 2021.

I am not sure what you are all feeling but I most certainly feel a mixture of anxiety and excitement. None of us knows what 2021 will hold and after the year we have all had, who could blame us for being less enthusiastic than usual.

But I refuse to kick-start the year with so much ambiguity. I am standing tall.

OUR 2020 ‘RAINBOW’ MOMENTS

What a year 2020 has been. It certainly has not worked its charm on any of us. In fact, it has tossed us around and given us a few bumps on route, but it has  also taught us some very meaningful lessons.

We decided we would look back through the year and share some of our highlights and positive moments.  As Dolly Parton says, ‘If you want the rainbow, you sometimes have to put up with the rain.”

Here are our rainbow moments of 2020, what are yours?

Rainbow Moment No. 1- Customer Thank-You Note

We still get super fluttered when we get notes from clients packed tight with appreciation. Here is one that really made us light up this year-

Thank you Hawi, just received the parcel. It is so stunning, my lovely girlfriend (who is bride to be) will adore it I’m sure. Thank you again, you always do such a good job.

Rainbow Moment No.2- Our Team Just Got Bigger

This year, our business experienced a growth spurt. Since 2020 has become a world more virtually driven that ever, people are seeing the true power of tangibility and the physical gift experience. As a result, our team has grown too.

We are now powered by six team members (not including our precious Penny though, maybe we should as she too is certainly part of the team). We are a multi-cultured, creative bunch that sit not only in Adelaide but across the globe. We call ourselves The Hawi Curators and we absolutely adore what we do.

 Rainbow Moment No.3- Hawi Turned One

Read more about this special milestone here, but this October we turned one and we felt especially grateful to everyone who makes the Hawi vision possible every day, including employees, customers, suppliers and ‘believers’, who have supported us from day one.

We couldn't have done any of this without your support. 

 

Rainbow Moment No.4- Our First Corporate Order

This year we also launched our corporate gifting. We are so excited to support businesses across Australia in gifting their employees for their loyalty and work and/or their clients for their continued business and prospective business. WHY CORPORATE GIFTS WILL MATTER MORE THAN EVER IN 2021

Workplaces and how we work has transformed in a matter of months, if you look back to how things were in January 2020, it seems like it was a different decade.
At an accelerated pace, we have all began to work remotely more and rely even heavier on technology. doubts whether the timing was right, but after careful thought and research, we realized the timing could not be any better.

people who have carried companies through this turbulent year and it is showing
a genuine care and appreciation for people that will ensure long-term growth.

immediately feel appreciated. Whether the gift be to a client, supplier or employee, appreciation is known to have a good ROI (Return In Investment). Corporate gifts show people that the company cares and in turn it can increase loyalty and trust.

ON TURNING ONE- HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAWI!

I will admit, a few tears have hit my keyboard while typing this post as I reflect
on all that has happened in 12 months. Mainly happy tears, but I would be lying
if I said they all were. My first year as an entrepreneur has also
smacked me across the face a few times. I think this is partly why I love it.
